Here in The New Spirit (1942), which the Disney studios made for the U.S. Treasury Department to educate the public on how to pay their taxes, shows us that paying our taxes is patriotic. People, and corporations, who cheat on taxes are unpatriotic creeps.
A modern cartoon explaining how taxes keep democracy strong today might be a good idea as a refresher course against the worst instincts of some people, and corporations, but I suppose Donald Duck destroying the Axis by sitting down to fill out his tax return (profession: actor) is a lot more dramatic.
You have only a few more days to do your patriotic duty. Have fun.
