The blog goes dark today in remembrance of the fascist coup attempted one year ago, the greatest threat to our democracy this country has ever known. Prayers for the arrest, indictment, and incarceration of all the filthy traitors who participated in any way.

I used to get annoyed with American newscasters who would brag about the "peaceful transition of power" as if they lived in the only country where it occurred. Now, I am sad and frightened that they can no longer say it.
