Hello, gang. Back from the Northern Kentucky University Y.E.S. new play festival, where my suspense drama "One Good Turn" premiered. My gratitude and admiration goes to director Sandra Forman, and her terrific cast: Harli Cooper, Katie Berger, Caity Shipp, Seth Wallen, Stephanie Wallenfelsz, Jinkju Lim, Rex Martinez, Simon Powell, Lauren Hayes, and Hayley Powell. It was a great experience.
Now, to slide gently back into Old Move Land, here's another mystery photo. Who's the lady riding in the car with this fellow, and from what movie? Answers on Thursday.
Welcome back, Jacqueline! What an exciting time for you -- congrats on the production of your play!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Laura
Thanks, Laura. It was a fantastic experience I'll always treasure. I learned a lot from the cast and crew, and director. And I discovered this morning that despite the odds of a fierce winter that lasted until about 10 hours ago, my tulips are coming up. Not a bad start to the week.
ReplyDeleteYes, welcome back to your old haunts, Jacqueline. My contratulations as well on the production of your play. Was it a mystery? I hope so. I would have liked to have seen it.
ReplyDeleteThe guy in the photo is SO familiar to me. I've seen him a million films. I even know how he sounds. Of course I don't know his name. The scene is from a movie that is right on the tip of my tongue. But...
Congratulations on a succesful production. Now...if you could run into Sam Harris as played by Richard Whorf then you'd be the girl who owns Broadway.
ReplyDeleteYou've come up with a real toughie in that picture. Part of my brain says that young lady might be Jennifer Jones, but I should never listen to that part of my brain. Other than that - I got nothin'!
Thank you, ladies. Yes, Yvette, the play was a mystery. I'm glad the photo is a challenge. I love his expression.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the blogosphere my fellow cinephile!
ReplyDeleteI hope that your production was fantastic! Wish that I could have seen it...
Is it possible that you could post a recording of it to youtube?
Thank you, Nathanael. It's good to be back. I'm afraid there won't be any YouTube versions of the play, but thanks so much for your interest.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back! The neighborhood just isn't the same when you're away. Glad to hear the play went well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, John. Now I'm busy catching up with your blog, and with all my other favorite blogs.
ReplyDeleteJacqueline: I just found out you're on Twitter! Happy to follow you there as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm still getting used to Twitter. I do more reading than tweeting.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You must be proud, and should be! I know that little man - I know I do! It's going to drive me crazy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becky. That little man seems to be driving everybody crazy. I love scenes in cars.
