Betty Boop's Hallowe'en Party (1933)
Getting ready for Halloween, here’s a glimpse of the weird and wonderful world of Max Fleischer and the never-a-dull-moment in the life of Betty Boop. This is “Betty Boop’s Hallowe’en Party” (1933), directed by Dave Fleischer and featuring the voice of Mae Questal as Betty. Note the NRA “We Do Our Part” at the beginning.
Wow! I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this one. Soooo risque! I thought I'd seen them all
ReplyDeleteHi, Erich. Thanks for stopping by. The Fleischer brothers did have interesting imaginations.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! Thank you for posting it. I shared it with my mom, a big Betty Boop fan, and she loved it.
ReplyDeleteHi, Raquelle. I'm glad your mom liked the cartoon. Betty's got quite a life.
