I think I first heard Bing Crosby sing it on his old radio show, with a tinge of wistful sadness. Lovely song.Jacqueline T. Funny you should mention THE WIZARD OF OZ. There is kind of a spooky moment where Morgan, drunk and bemoaning his troubles, mumbles, "There's no place like home," and we immediately think of WIZARD. He certainly couldn't have predicted his role in that movie six years later, but it is a little eerie to hear it.Jacqueline T. I really enjoyed your take on it, and need to give it another watch! The first time I saw it was mainly for Rogers and Hart, and I found myself lost in its world. A special example of a fabulous film of the 30s.
